Wholesale Terms & Conditions

The Bamboo Wardrobe – Terms of Trading

 

1. Price:

- Price quoted excludes VAT.

- Quotations are valid for 30 days, unless stated otherwise.

- Price quoted excludes delivery, unless stated otherwise.

- For business customers, price fixed on receipt of deposit.

- Rates of tax and duties are those at time of delivery.

- Price may be adjusted before delivery due to increased costs.

 

2. Delivery:

- Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed.

 

3. Payment terms:

- Payment is due on delivery.

- Failure to pay within 30 days may result in suspension of future.

- Interest will be charged on overdue accounts as per applicable law.

- Compensation for credit control costs and legal costs may be claimed.

- Actions may be taken without notice.

- We may retain he order until full payment is received.

 

4. Title:

- Consumers' statutory rights remain unaffected.

- Business customers' goods remain our property until paid for in full.

- Business customers must store and insure goods as specified.

- Business customers may use and sell goods unless rights are revoked or insolvency occurs.

 

5. Warranties:

- We warrant goods are free from material defects at the time of delivery.

- Consumers' warranty is in addition to statutory rights.

- Claims for defective goods must be made promptly in writing and investigated by us.

- Defective goods may be replaced, refunded or a credit note issued .

 

6. Specification:

- If goods are prepared according to your specifications, ensure accuracy and fitness for purpose.

- We may make changes to comply with increased production costs.

 

7. Return of goods:

- Returns accepted only by prior arrangement, subject to handling charge (unless goods were defective) and if fit for sale.

 

8. Export terms:

- Goods supplied ex-works UK warehouse, unless otherwise agreed.

 

9. Cancellation:

- If you cancel, you must pay for any stock held or committed for your order.

- We may suspend or cancel if you fail to pay, become insolvent, or breach obligations.

 

10. General:

- English law applies, and English/Welsh courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction.

- Joint and several liability for multiple customers.

- Unenforceable terms do not affect other terms, and may be treated as amended if possible.

- Insolvency may lead to treatment as insolvent.

- Promotional materials are illustrative only, not part of the contract.

- Notices served by leaving at or delivering to registered office or principal place of business.

- No enforceable rights for third parties.

- You may rely on written statements made by our authorized representative.

- Fraudulent misrepresentation not limited by these terms.
